The toolbar controls pointer behavior. The inspector changes the selected layer’s saved properties. Use Pan to move the view and the status bar to change zoom. View → Fit Window, or 0 by default, fits the active page. Switching pages returns to a fitted view. Use Select to pick editable layers and modifier keys for multiple selection. Supported layers can be moved, resized, and rotated. A drag previews the transform; finishing commits it, and canceling restores the previous presentation.

Choose an editing tool

Click with Text to create point text, or drag to create a paragraph frame. Enter the translation in the inspector and adjust typography and fitting.
Hold Space and drag to pan temporarily. Release it to restore the previous tool. Escape cancels the active gesture or clears selection.
Single-key tool shortcuts are inactive while a text field is focused. See keyboard shortcuts.
